In accordance with directives from the Public Prosecutor's Office, the apprehensions and all seizures were validated, with the detainees being charged with the crime of aggravated drug trafficking as part of a criminal organization.

Additionally, the case was referred to the federal jurisdiction to assess the connection between the current case and the case regarding adulterated drugs, while coordination between the federal judiciary and the intervening prosecutor's office was maintained.

The leader of the group, Natalia Díaz, alias 'Nati' or 'The Aunt', was linked to the 'Adulterated Drugs' case, which investigated a criminal organization dedicated to the production, adulteration, and distribution of cocaine hydrochloride. These drugs, altered with carfentanil, caused severe poisonings that resulted in the hospitalization of over 80 people and the death of 24 in the Puerta 8 area in February 2022.

During the first operation in Moreno, five people were arrested, including Natalia Díaz. Another raid was also carried out in the same locality, resulting in the arrest of two more individuals. The operation concluded with the seizure of 72 marijuana packages, 186 cocaine packages, nylon strips used for portioning, three scissors, a precision scale, two mobile phones, and cash.
